What's are the differences between Starter and Core plans?
Core includes everything in Starter and expands with advanced cardiovascular biomarkers that reveal risks with higher accuracy than usual lipidic markers such as cholesterol or triglycerides; a broader hormonal panel that gives you clarity during key moments like reproductive planning, perimenopause or menopause, athletic performance optimization, or high-stress periods; and a more detailed metabolic and nutritional layer that can uncover patterns affecting energy, weight regulation, and recovery.
In practice, Starter is a strong baseline, while Core is built for people who want more precise insights and more actionable guidance in their Clinician Notes.
Is Holo for you?
Holo is designed for anyone over 18. It gives you a clear picture of your health today and how it evolves over time. The earlier you start, the more data you’ll have to take action early.
Can I get reimbursed by my private insurance for Holo?
If your plan includes reimbursement for out-of-network services, we can provide the documentation you need to submit a claim when you purchase a Holo plan.
Reimbursement rates vary by insurer (sometimes up to 100% of eligible costs), and the final decision is always made by your insurer.
When should I start using Holo?
As soon as possible. The earlier you start, the more data you’ll have to take action early.
Does Holo replace my doctor?
No, Holo doesn’t replace your doctor or primary care provider—it empowers you as a patient. With a membership, you get over 110 biomarker results per year, along with in-depth insights.
Every set of results is reviewed by a physician, providing a medical opinion that you can share with your doctor.
Having a comprehensive history of lab results before your appointment can minimize unnecessary follow-ups and make your doctor’s time more efficient. Holo is built to enhance your healthcare experience and give you more control over your health.
Why don’t I already get tested for this when visiting my doctor?
Nor insurance or tradicional primary care have the incentives to do so. That’s why Holo has negotiated rates with our lab partners, meaning we can offer most tests for 50-80% less the price you would be able to order on your own.
Is Holo an insurance plan?
No. Holo is not an insurance nor do we accept insurance payment. We have a complete and transparent pricing.
Can Holo diagnose me?
No, Holo does not provide diagnoses at this time. While we offer the same trusted tests used by the wider medical community and have results reviewed by licensed clinicians, we are not yet able to deliver formal diagnoses.
Getting Tested
How will my lab tests results be delivered?
They will appear on your Holo app progressively as they become available.
Can I order additional tests like sexual health or allergies?
Yes! You'll be able to add them easily once the add-on section becomes available.
How long will it take to receive my lab results?
Your results will start appearing in the Holo app within 48 hours. It may take up to 1 week for all results to arrive. Once everything is ready, you’ll receive your clinical report approximately 1 week later.

Why are lab tests usually so expensive?
In most cases, insurance negotiates lower rates with labs, covering a reduced cost instead of the full price. However, when insurance doesn’t step in, individuals are often left paying the steep, undiscounted rates for testing. For example, the tests included in Holo memberships could cost over €1,000 elsewhere.
How often should I be tested?

Why do I need to test every six months?
Most of the times, lab tests only take into account a single point in time. Which we believe to be relatively useless. Comparing your results over time creates a whole new set of invaluable data. Allowing you to test and iterate changes in your lifestyle while checking their results. Building your own protocol.
Do you offer at-home testing?
No, the extensive testing included in your Holo membership isn’t compatible with at-home, self-collection kits. While we considered mail-in kits for individual tests, they proved too unreliable due to common issues like improper finger pricks, inconsistent sample sizes, temperature fluctuations, contamination risks, and delays that could compromise accuracy.
For precision and reliability, we exclusively partner with tier-1 labs.
The Results
What more does Holo offer than my regular doctor or insurance?
Holo is a complement to it. We offer 5x more lab tests, and give you the tools so you can track your results over time together with actionable insights.
All lab tests are ordered and reviewed by licensed clinicians.
Do I have access to speak to doctors?
A doctor will always call you if there’s any unusual result in your tests. You can also always download your data and share them with any doctor you like. Or we’ll be happy to refer you to our network of longevity and functional health clinicians.
Does a doctor review my results?
Yes, a licensed doctor will always authorize and review your tests. The clinician report provided to you along with your results is also written by a licensed doctor.
What if there’s an emergency in my results?
Our doctors will call you immediately.
Who will have access to my results?
You, the labs, and our clinician team—no one else. Your data is always secure, never sold to third parties, and you have full control to delete it at any time.
Does Holo integrate with my wearables? Oura, Google Fit, Apple Health or other services?
Yes, we are integrated with most of your wearables.

Most of our members expense Holo as a business investment. Your health plays a crucial role in your professional success, just like executive coaching or other high-performance services. Holo should be seen as a strategic advantage rather than just another expense. How does Holo use AI to analyze my data?

By examining millions of potential data combinations, we can identify early signs of illness, discover causal links, and track hidden trends.
Traditionally, comprehensive medical tests are only conducted when there’s a concern, resulting in sporadic data collection. This limited approach has made it challenging to fully utilize artificial intelligence in diagnostics and health predictions, as most insights are based on averages from large populations. With Holo, however, you can build an ongoing record of your unique health data, unlocking personalized insights. The more tests you complete, the deeper the understanding of your health will become.
Who owns my data?
You own your data. You can delete it anytime and do whatever you like with it.
Is my data secure?
