Holo raises a €1M pre-seed round to bring preventive medicine into everyday life
Spanish health startup revolutionizes personalized health by combining advanced lab tests, wearable data, and AI.

Healthtech startup Holo has closed a €1 million pre-seed round, one of the largest in Spain’s preventive health sector this year. Founded by three former Factorial employees, the company aims to transform how we understand and manage our health through an all-in-one app that combines advanced analytics, AI, and functional medicine, seamlessly connected to devices like Apple Watch, Garmin, Oura, and others.
The round was led by European fund Calm/Storm Ventures and Spanish firm Mission VC, with participation from ENISA and a group of renowned business angels and early customers, including Javier López and Emilio Nicolás (Magnific AI, Freepik), Carlos Villanueva (Google), Álex Rodríguez (MarsBased), Álvaro López (Polygon Labs), Samuel Fernández and Sergi Molins (Factorial), José de Cabo (Olapic, Remotely Works), Esteve Almirall (Node Living), and Luis Sanz (Carto).
“Health should be something we understand — not something we go blindly into until something goes wrong. At Holo, we want everyone to have control over their well-being as easily as they track their finances. We want to build the Revolut of health,” says Francesc Navarro, CEO and co-founder.
A New Way to Understand Health

Holo was born from a simple but powerful idea: health doesn’t start in a hospital — it starts in everyday life. Its platform enables users to run complete blood panels at leading laboratories, connect wearables like Apple Watch, Garmin, or Oura, and receive personalized reports reviewed by physicians specialized in prevention and longevity.
Each user receives a dynamic health map, tracking over 110 biomarkers — from inflammation and hormones to longevity indicators. This holistic overview helps users anticipate risks before symptoms appear and optimize daily energy and well-being.
“In the coming years, everyone will carry a full profile of their health in their pocket. That information won’t just prevent disease — it will help people live better every day. Holo will be the platform that makes it possible,” adds Emilio Rodríguez, co-founder and Chief Product Officer.
From Factorial to Holo: Technology Serving Well-Being
Founded in October 2024 by Francesc Navarro, Emilio Rodríguez, and Sergio Mosquera, all former employees of Factorial, one of Europe’s leading tech unicorns. After years of building software that improved people’s work lives, the team decided to apply that expertise to a more human challenge: building technology that helps people live longer and better.
“We learned how to scale product, culture, and technology from Barcelona. Now, we want to use that knowledge to reshape how we think about health and well-being,” says Navarro.
Growth and Next Steps
With this funding, Holo will strengthen its growth in Spain and prepare for European expansion in 2026. The capital will go toward product development, new medical integrations, and clinical partnerships across Europe.
The company is also developing complementary health services and personalized longevity programs, reinforcing its vision to become Europe’s leading preventive health platform.
“The combination of science, technology, and care can transform the way we live. Our mission is to create a new standard in prevention and well-being,” concludes Sergio Mosquera, CTO and co-founder.
